The teenage attacker has apparently fallen out with his PSV Eindhoven side and could be set to leave the Dutch side with sporting director Marcel Brands certainly suggesting the youngster could be on his way, stating;

“During the summer, we reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid but he didn’t want to go.

“He has a good heart. I don’t have anything against him, but I have a responsibility with the club and the other players. He hasn’t treated PSV with respect and that has consequences.”

Indeed Atletico Madrid are once again keen on the 18 year old, who has been dubbed the ‘New Eden Hazard’ though Louis van Gaal’s interest in the PSV man is interesting given the lack of first team action the Old Trafford boss has given to Bakkali’s fellow countryman Adnan Januzaj of late.

Pint sized winger Bakkali won his first national team cap at the age of 17 and is considered to be one of the hottest prospects in European football, albeit seemingly a tough character to handle.
