A rematch of last season’s grand final, its scarcely believable that Western Sydney and Brisbane sit last and eighth respectively.
There’s no doubt that the Wanderers’ AFC Champions League run has hurt its A-League campaign, but the weekend’s draw against Sydney FC showed Tony Popovic’s side to be back in business.
Brisbane on the other hand played its first game under interim boss Frans Thijssen, and were able to hold ladder-leaders Perth Glory to a 1-1 draw at home.
Both sides will be desperate for a win, so this will be a game not to miss.
