Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne looks set to try and force a move to Manchester United this summer after turning down a new contract at the St Mary’s Stadium, according to ESPN.

The England international defender has long been linked as a top target for Louis van Gaal as he eyes improvements in the right-sided wing-back role for his side, and could now be heading to Old Trafford.
United will be in a good position to sign Clyne if he continues to stall on committing his future to the Saints, who lost a flurry of their biggest names last summer.
Luke Shaw was another Southampton star to make the move to United, and Clyne now looks increasingly likely to follow his old team-mate.
