While much of the fall out following Thursday night’s Europa League victory for FC Midtjylland against Manchester United has focused on the Red Devils’ failings, the win was a massive one for the Danish side.
As if there was any doubt as to what it meant for the European minnows, footage has leaked of the home side celebrating in their dressing room after the match.

While the job is only half done for Midtjylland, the Danish side are clearly delighted about having secured one of the biggest results in their history and giving themselves a big chance of overcoming the Red Devils and securing a spot in the Last 16.
As this video shows, the celebration extended beyond the stands and into the Midtjylland dressing room.
United opened the scoring through Memphis Depay, but were pinned back through Pione Sisto, before Nigerian U23 hitman Ebere Paul Onuachu scored the winner in the 77th minute.
Louis van Gaal’s side need to take the Europa League seriously this season, as the competition represents arguably their best opportunity of securing a return to next season’s Champions League.
