The race for this Premier League striker is heating up, and apparently Arsene Wenger is reported to be in the lead to capture this ace.

Arsenal and Manchester United are set to go head-to-head in the battle to sign Roque Santa Cruz.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is fearful of losing Emmanuel Adebayor, with AC Milan believing they will capture the Togo forward this summer.
Wenger has ordered his scouting staff to present a list of potential replacements and Santa Cruz is at the top of their list. But any hope of a simple deal to recruit Blackburn’s Paraguay striker faces a threat from Old Trafford.
Despite winning a Premier League-Champions League double, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants a powerful striker – and Santa Cruz would carry a more reasonable fee than Spurs’ £30m-rated Dimitar Berbatov. (Mirror)
£15m-rated Roque Santa Cruz seems to be wisely distancing himself from the countless rumours linking him with a move away from Ewood Park, but now that Mark Hughes has left, the Paraguayan ace may well be reconsidering his position. He had a marvellous season last term scoring 23 times, imagine how many he would get for either Arsenal or United! Do Arsenal fans rate Roque and would he be a more than able replacement for Adebayor if the Togolese striker did indeed leave for Serie A?
