Well i don’t think anyone can argue against the opinion of our former full back hero, he is saying what we have all been saying very loudly for some time now.
Yes Mathieu Flamini did the job very well in his last season at the club, but then he (pardon my French) Fucked off and left us high and dry. Alexander Song and Denilson have tried hard this term to resolve this long standing issue but have to all intents and purposes failed to do so.
So what now? Well we have been linked with every defensive midfielder on the planet in the last 12 months but two names consistently crop up. Miguel Veloso and Yaya Toure. Both good players with a pretty good pedigree. As far as i can work out the Sporting Lisbon man wants to leave but his employers want to fleece as much spare change out of him as possible.
For a time Yaya was quoted as saying he had enough of not being automatic first choice at the Nou Camp, but now it appears he is not so unhappy and currently gets the nod over impressive Barca youngster Sergio Busquets (why don’t we try to get him?).
Either way it’s time for Arsene to win us over with a good summer of transfer dealing. He doesn’t necessarily have to break the bank but he does need to get players of substance, quality and most importantly, experience.
Hang on. Did Wenger hasn’t effectively replaced TH14 either!
