Roar midfielder requires surgery on knee injury
The 21-year-old faces 9 months on the sidelines after tearing his posterior cruciate and lateral ligaments in a pre-season game for Brisbane Roar.
Lambadardis who has only six senior appearances to his name injured his knee during Roar’s 5-0 victory against Albany Creek Excelsior.
Speaking to Four Four Two Australia Roar head physio Tim Oostenbroek said : “George sustained a serious left knee injury against Albany Creek, he will be having surgery next week to reconstruct injuries to the posterior cruciate and lateral ligaments.”
