Nigerian looks to have finally played his last game for the Baggies.

Check in to Transfer Window: Done Deal Alerts

Controversial West Bromwich Albion front man Peter Odemwingie is on the verge of moving to UAE outfit Al Nasr next season, according to reports on Sky Sports.

The Nigeria international has already been told by Baggies head coach Steve Clarke that he has no future at the Hawthorns and should find himself a new club this summer.

The 32-year-old caused outrage in the Midlands at the turn of the year after trying to force through a move to Queens Park Rangers on the final day of the January window, only for the transfer to fall through after the striker himself had driven all the way to Loftus Road himself in order to seal the deal.

As a result, Odemwingie’s future at the club has been in grave doubt every since, and now it appears as though the player is set for a move to Dubai-based side Al Nasr.

Al Nasr have been closely monitoring Odemwingie’s situation at West Brom all summer long with a view to landing the forward during the close-season transfer window, however, their initial offer of £850,000 was rejected out of hand by Baggies last month.

West Brom are said to be insistent that any interested party in the unsettled attacker must first meet in full their £1.5 million valuation of Odemwingie, and now that Al Nasr have returned with such an offer, a deal for the Nigerian should be completed by the end of the week.
