The in-form Italy international has been attracting the attentions of a whole host of big-name clubs both back in Serie A, as well as also in the Premier League, after what has been an eye-catching start to the season for Torino.

In fact, the likes of Serie A giants AC Milan and Premier League leaders Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, champions Manchester United and Liverpool have all reportedly shown an interest in Cerci of late with a view to landing the winger at the end of this current campaign.

Cerci has so far managed to record an impressive nine goals and seven assists in total in his 22 matches in all competitions for both club and country this season, all of which have come in Serie A.

However, now the 26-year-old has confirmed that he is desperate to quit Torino when next month’s transfer window opens again for business in order to finally realise his long-held dream of playing in Europe’s premier club competition.

“I feel ready for the Champions League – I have matured,” Cerci said.

“I think it’s the right time to make the leap. I want to get there, even before the World Cup. Roma? It’s no secret to go back to where I grew up. Now it’s a dream, but also it’s a goal to go to Juventus.”
