The Spain international is currently enjoying a fine campaign at the heart of the Serie A outfit’s midfield, so much so that a number of big-name clubs from across the Continent have reportedly been linked with making a move for the player at the end of the season.
Valero, 29, has registered six goals and nine assists in total in his 40 matches in all competitions this campaign, and now the Spaniard’s agent Alejandro Camano has confirmed that: “‘At this moment I can not report on anything new, you should speak with the club – the future is in their hands.
“At this time we have not planned anything. Now the focus is turned to the league and the Italian Cup final. I know that there have been rumours on the interest of Manchester United and Barcelona, but I have not had any contact.
“He is in love with Florence and Fiorentina and is very pleased to be part of the club, but at the moment there is no relevant news about his future.”
