Gunners look to bring Portuguese stack back to the Premier League.
Arsenal are said to be lining up a surprise deal for Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago after being impressed with the role that he has played in their rise to the top of La Liga, according to Football Direct News.

The Portuguese star is out of contract at the Vicente Calderon this summer, and will be free to leave the club as no new deal has been offered to him as of yet.
And according to reports in his native Portugal the 33-year-old has a number of admirers that would be more than willing to take him on board this summer, including the Gunners.
Arsenal will be looking to add some more options to their midfield area this summer and were alerted to Tiago’s availability when taking a closer look at his teammate Diego.
The experienced former Portugal international can sit in the midfield anchor role and dictate play which he has done extensively for his team this season.
Tiago has already spent time in the Premier League when he played for Chelsea during the 2004/05 season, and his experience will be of great interest to Arsene Wenger on a short term deal.
