Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has apparently devised a cunning plan to help his Stamford Bridge side get the upper hand in a chase to sign a quartet of La Liga talents.

Spanish source El Confidencial claims that the Stamford Bridge side had agreed a deal to re-sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago some time ago and that the Portuguese midfielder has been helping to persuade a host of his team-mates to consider a move to Stamford Bridge.

Tiago has been discussing the possibility of a west London switch with prospective targets Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Miranda, who coincidentally all share the same agent as Mourinho, Jorge Mendes.

It seems that the plan is working swimmingly with reports claiming that both striker Costa and left-back Luis have all but agreed moves to join the Premier League side.

Brazilian defender Miranda is proving a tougher prospect, with a number of other sides chasing the Vicente Calderon defender.

Jose Mourinho looks set to conduct a major squad re-shuffle and has already banked £40m+ from the sale of David Luiz to PSG.
