Manchester United are desperate to complete the signing of Arturo Vidal…
Javier Hernandez’s agent has seemingly confirmed the story we brought you earlier today – that Manchester United are preparing to launch a stunning £40m plus player bid to land long-term target Arturo Vidal.
According to the Daily Mail, Eduardo Hernandez says there will be news ‘soon’ amid reports linking the striker with Juventus in a swap deal for the 27-year-old Chilean.
Speculation over Vidal’s future at Juventus had gone quiet after the club announced he was not for sale and he signalled his desire to stay in Turin.
But some bookmakers have now suspended betting after reports surfaced suggesting Juve remain interested in a deal with Manchester United worth 45 million euros and two players, one of them Hernandez.

Van Gaal appears to be keen on landing a ‘Marquee’ signing this summer having already completed deals to bring in Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw from Athletic Bilbao and Southampton respectively.
Vidal would offer Man United some creativity in the centre of the park, though the former Bayer Leverkusen can also work out in wide roles, and having seen Antonio Conte leave Juventus the cultured midfielder could be open to a fresh challenge.
Hernandez could also be ready for a change of scenery as it appears he is no nearer to a regular berth in the Man United starting eleven under new management.
