Red Devils to make one final attempt at Vidal.

Manchester United are set to take advantage of Juventus’ interest in Mexican striker Javier Hernandez and make one final offer for Arturo Vidal, report the Express, despite their imminent deal to bring Argentina international Angel di Maria to Old Trafford.
United have been trying to put together a deal to sign Chilean international Vidal all summer, but have been frustrated by Juventus’ reluctance to sell one of their most prized assets – the Bianconeri’s interest in striker Javier Hernandez may just hand the Red Devils a trump card, however.
New manager Massimo Allegri wants another striker this season and, having seen a deal for AS Monaco star Falcao fail to materialise, United’s Mexican international is now the experienced Allegri’s first choice in Turin – ahead of Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski.
This could allow United to look to engineer the situation to their advantage with a final cash-plus-Hernandez offer for Vidal, mindful of the fact that the Old Lady are well stocked in central midfield but lack top class cover for forwards Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.
With the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio, Paul Pogba and new signing Kingsley Coman also competing for a spot in the centre, Allegri could yet be tempted to let Vidal go to allow him to strengthen elsewhere.
