Old Trafford side keen on Fiorentina flair player.
Despite having spent huge sums over the summer it appears Man United boss Louis van Gaal is ready to once again dig deep into the Old Trafford coffers with the Daily Express claiming a £30m bid for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado is imminent.
Man United had been linked with a move for the Colombian over the summer though the 26 year old seemingly opted to remain in Florence, with Barcelona also said to have been pursuing the South American.
Van Gaal’s interest in re-igniting his push for the former Udinese man will surely leave the likes of Ashley Young, Juan Mata and Adnan Januzaj considering their options, with the trio already playing limited roles in the firs team set-up.
Cuadrado had superb season last term, netting 15 goals for Fiorentina in all competitions before impressing at the World Cup finals, and perhaps the wide-man’s ability to also play in a full-back role is proving a motivating factor for Louis van Gaal.
