Old Trafford side chase Black Cats youngster.
Man United are reportedly considering a shock move for Sunderland keeper Jordan Pickford according to the Daily Star.
The 20 year old custodian is currently on loan at League One side Bradford City and has caught the attention of Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal who believes the former England Under 19 international could act as a viable back-up to first choice starter David de Gea.
Man United are linked with a £2m bid for the Black Cats starlet, a bid this source states would be hard for Sunderland to refuse.
Pickford is currently tied down to a four year contract.
