The Chilean international has been one of the top central midfield players in the world in recent years, helping Juve to three consecutive Serie A titles since he joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen.
Many top clubs have been linked with the 27-year-old in recent months, though United have long been touted as his main suitors as they continue to search for top class additions to that part of the pitch, which has been a problem position for them for some time.
Vidal has the quality to come in and majorly improve the Red Devils in that area, though the club seemingly failed in numorous attempts to land him during this summer’s transfer window, and moved instead to bring in other targets such as Ander Herrera and Daley Blind in the midfield engine room.
Still, Vidal may be available next summer, with Juventus concerned about the player’s slight dip in form this season and keen to cash in on him while they still can.
