Club Leon’s Argentine/Uruguayan manager has resigned this morning after his side failed to make the post-season.
Despite this season’s disappointment Matosas has cemented his name as one of the finest Latin American manager in the world game as he took Leon from the second division to back-to-back Liga MX titles in three years.
There is interest from across Mexico, but also the MLS, his native countries and even England.
Gustavo Matosas resigns from Club Leon. Took team from 2nd division to consecutive Liga MX titles in 3 years.
