Analysis & Prediction Of Tottenham’s Tough Christmas Schedule

See how Tottenham prospects over Christmas look…

Spurs’ recent form has been bizarre, as they beat Everton and Swansea with undeserved late goals, with a draw with Crystal Palace and a thrashing from Chelsea thrown into the mix.

Here’s how we think Tottenham will do in their difficult festive run.

Leicester City v Tottenham

Tottenham start their tricky Christmas series with the easiest of the lot, an away trip to the Midlands to face Leicester. The Foxes are struggling badly at the foot of the division, and Spurs must seize the chance to pick up three points before two tough games at home.

In the end, it will probably end up as the 2-1 away scoreline that Mauricio Pochettino’s men have fallen back on so many times this term.

Prediction: Leicester City 1-2 Tottenham

Tottenham v Manchester United

Plenty of sides have shown that Manchester United are vulnerable this season, and Tottenham could easily give them a scare. But the North London team have lacked consistency this season and have consistently been found wanting at the back; much like the Red Devils themselves.

It should be an entertaining, open affair, but the superior attacking options available to Louis Van Gaal will pip the Lilywhites.

Prediction: Tottenham 1 – 3 Manchester United
