Club owner Vincent Tan angered the club’s fans in 2012 when he lead a rebrand from the club’s traditional blue to red, and has often courted controversy since.
The club’s chief executive Ken Choo has said that the change of colour would be permitted under FA rules, and manager Russell Slade even suggested that the change could come as early as this weekend.
“I think Vincent will give this a great deal of consideration,” added Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman.
