Manchester United star Radamel Falcao didn’t even make the bench for the club’s defeat by Southampton…
Radamel Falcao’s future at Manchester United looks to have been cast into further doubt tonight, after the Colombian was forced to deny leaving Old Trafford early, after not being selected for Sunday’s defeat against Southampton.

Reports in the Metro explain that the 28-year-old was left out, despite not being injured, and has since been accused of not sticking around to watch the match. But the on-loan Monaco man has now refuted the story after he re-tweeted a Colombian journalist who appeared to confirm his innocence.
Luis Restrepo of DirecTV wrote on Twitter: “To clarify. Falcao was at Old Trafford on Sunday, a game that I attended. Also, he was seen with Van Gaal in the tunnel after the game.
“Additionally Van Gaal verified it in his press conference and I verified it myself. You have to filter what is said and written from here [the United Kingdom].”
Strangely, Falcao also attempted to add his thoughts to the story by manually re-tweeting the second message from Restrepo and writing ‘Aprendan’, which means ‘learn’ before it was deleted.
Falcao has scored just three times for United so far this season, and is unlikely to have done himself any favours this week, as he seeks to earn a permanent deal at Old Trafford.
