Arsenal transfer news
The French defender is not currently a regular for the Ligue 1 giants, but is thought to be one of the most highly regarded young talents in France at the moment.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is well known for snapping up the best talent from his native country, and could be on the move for Diaby, who is no relation to current Gunners midfielder Abou Diaby.
Arsenal have been short of options in defence this season, and it may be that Wenger wants to bring in Diaby as cover in that position, with little in the way of backup for Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny if they were to get injured.
