Louis van Gaal has moved to capture a fresh defensive recruit and having agreed a fee for the Austrian international the Old Trafford side are ready to discuss personal terms with the 23 year old.
Senior Man United defenders Phil Jones, Chris Smalling Jonny Evans have all been found wanting this term and it’s no surprise that van Gaal would look to sign a centre-back though few would be all that aware of Dragovic, who is hardly a household name.
Man United have struggled at the back this term and van Gaal has been linked with moves for a host of potential signings including Aston Villa’s Ron Vlaar, Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels and West Ham contract rebel Winston Reid to name just three.
Dragovic moved from FC Basel to the Kiev back in 2013 and is known for his uncompromising no-nonsense displays.
