Tigres are looking to end Queretaro’s four game winning streak and have started off on the right foot thanks to this incredible strike from 35 year old winger Damian Alvarez.

The former River Plate player picked the ball up on the half way line, beat three players, and unleashed an unstoppable dipping shot into the top right corner. It is his first league goal since Christmas.

Tigres are currently fourth in the table, but a win could see them go to the top of the pile, with all their closest competitors due to play later in the weekend.

Queretaro would have been a push over a few weeks ago, but have won four games on the spin have moved up to eighth. If they can turn this game round they could leapfrog their opponents.
