Manchester United are believed to be close to agreeing a deal to sign highly-rated Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to the Metro.
The Serbian international has bagged himself 20 goals so far this season, and as such has found himself in demand from a number of top clubs around Europe.
It had been believed that Newcastle United looked set to seal his signature after agreeing a £15million fee with the Belgian giants, but reports in Italy are now stating he will be off to Manchester over the summer.
With Radamel Falcao’s future with the Red Devils far from certain, the report claims that the 20-year-old will replace the Colombian next term.
A powerful striker with an insatiable eye for goal, Mitrovic had previously been on Arsenal’s radar.
Since joining Anderlecht in 2013, he has scored an impressive haul of 33 goals in 55 games for the club, collecting 11 international caps along the way.
