Manchester United transfer rumours
Spanish sources suggest the Colombian international will not be kept on at Monaco next term, with the out-of-form forward now being eyed up by his old employers in La Liga.
Falcao rose to stardom with some sensational performances as an Atletico player earlier in his career, though he has since struggled to replicate that form at Monaco and on loan at United this season.
A stay at Old Trafford looks highly unlikely for the 29-year-old, and Fichajes.net now suggests he will be on his way back for a second spell at the Vicente Calderon as Monaco look to replace him with Mandzukic up front.
The Croatian international has had a good first season in Madrid but is seemingly not in the long-term plans of manager Diego Simeone, who could try to revive Falcao’s career.
