Emirates Stadium attacker set for Ajax switch.
Ajax are set to sign Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo on a loan deal according to the Metro.
The 22-year-old French forward has struggled to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven and could benefit from some regular first-team action.
Former Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp is number two to Frank de Boer at Ajax and the connection between the two clubs could help make this deal become a reality.
Arsenal signed Sanogo from Auxerre in 2013 and despite bagging an amazing four-goal haul during the Gunners’ 5-1 thrashing of Benfica in the Emirates Cup last summer the lanky marksman has barely had a look-in at the north London club.
