Wenger ORDERS Arsenal to sign ‘new Andrey Arshavin’ ahead of rivals Liverpool

Gunners eyeing exciting winger.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly called on the club to sign Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev ahead of rivals Liverpool this summer.

The Gunners boss has set his sights on attacking reinforcements before the transfer deadline, and the Russian international looks a top talent to strengthen his team in that area.

According to the Metro, Cheryshev could now be Arsenal’s top target, ahead of his team-mate Karim Benzema, and the club will be hoping they can see off the Reds in the race for the talented wide-man.

Cheryshev could become the second Russian to play for the north London giants, and will be hoping to do better than Andrey Arshavin did in his time at the Emirates Stadium.
