Arsenal 4-0 West Ham – Arsenal have looked superb in pre-season, continuing where they left off last season, and it’s hard to imagine they won’t make easy work of this new-look West Ham side, who messed up in the Europa League this week.
Newcastle 0-0 Southampton – It’s hard to separate these two sides, and one would imagine the defensively sound Southampton will be happy to hold on to a point.
Stoke 2-1 Liverpool – Liverpool were thrashed by Stoke on the final day of last season, and they may struggle against the Potters again this time with new players likely to take time to gel.
