Crystal Palace 2-0 West Brom – One side looks considerably stronger than the other this season, so it’s hard not to back Crystal Palace to beat West Brom at home, though Tony Pulis’ side will never be pushovers.
Aston Villa 1-1 Stoke City – Too close to call, neither of these sides looks like quite having the quality to achieve much more than a lower-mid-table finish this season, and may struggle to find winning goals this weekend.
Bournemouth 1-0 Watford – Both newly-promoted sides have had up-and-down starts as one would expect, though the home side arguably have the better squad overall and could edge this one.
Manchester City 4-0 Newcastle – The Magpies have been dreadful this season and will surely get no favours from a Manchester City side looking to bounce back after recent disappointments. Given the gulf between these two teams it’s hard not to imagine a walkover for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.
