Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas has lavished praise on under-fire team-mate Diego Costa following their side’s recent win over Arsenal.
Fabregas has applauded Costa’s ‘competitive’ nature in the wake of the ‘violent conduct’ charge the Blues ace has now been hit with by the FA.
Chelsea ran out 2-0 winners over Arsenal, with Kurt Zouma and Eden Hazard netting for the home side, to help get their Premier League title defence back on track.

On the subject of Costa’s aggressive approach Fabregas stated;
“He’s very competitive,” the Chelsea midfielder told Chelsea’s official website.
“It’s good. He’s hungry for success and to win all the time. You can see the fans love him as well, they get behind him all the time so it’s great for us.”
Chelsea will be looking to make it three wins on the spin as they travel to face League One side Walsall in Capital One Cup action on Wednesday night though it’s unlikely either Costa or Fabregas will take part in that encounter.
