Paris Saint Germain star is keen on Arsenal move in January

Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reportedly claimed to be open to a January switch to Arsenal, according to the Daily Mirror.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has previously attempted to sign the 20-year-old twice in the past, and remains a big admirer of the youngster.

Wenger is known to be in the market for a new central midfielder in the new year, and has apparently already scouted Southampton’s Victor Wanyama, though The Mirror suggest that Rabiot could be a viable option on loan until the summer.

Rabbiot’s representatives are aware that Arsenal are in need of more options in central midfield, and have told Wenger that their client would be open to joining them in the new year with the view of playing regular first team football.

Rabiot has been in and out of the PSG first team so far this season, making a total of 16 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal.
