You’d think Burnley had just won the title for how they celebrated after earning promotion to the Premier League following their 1-0 win over QPR on Monday.
Following Brighton & Hove Albion’s 1-1 draw with Derby, Burnley merely needed to beat their former 2014-15 relegation partners in order to secure a spot in the 2016-17 Premier League season. And they did just that with a goal from Sam Vokes that served as the only score of the game.

The Clarets have not clinched the Sky Bet Championship title yet but can do with a win or draw against Charlton next week or if Middlesbrough and Brighton & Hove Albion play to a draw in Matchday 46.
Burnley were relegated last season after winning just seven games and scoring only 28 goals.
