£23m Arsenal target staying at Barcelona says agent

Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan has been closely linked with a move to Chelsea and Arsenal according to the Sun.

Italian giants Juventus are also reported to have entered the race as they prepare for the exit of star midfielder Paul Pogba.

Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund were reported to have made an enquiry as they continue their pursuit to replace Mkhitaryan.

Despite almost daily rumours that Turan will leave Barcelona his agent Ahmet Bulut revealed that he is happy at the club and denied stories linking him with a move abroad.

Speaking to Emre Sarigul [via the Guardian], Bulut said: “The interest [in Arda] is normal but the rumours saying he is leaving Barcelona are false, he is happy at the club.”

Turan does of course have another four-years remaining on his current deal and despite missing the first half of the season – due to the FIFA transfer ban – he still made 25 appearances and won the La Liga as well as the Copa del Rey.

The Sun do however, claim that Barcelona could be willing to sell him for a cut-price £23 million deal.
