Turkish giants do not want to sell Man Utd & Arsenal target

Besiktas do not want to sell highly rated Turkish international midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup this summer a source close to the club told Emre Sarigul.

The Black Eagles are aware of interest for their star man but are determined to keep hold of him over the summer after losing key players Mario Gomez and Gokhan Tore.

The Daily Star report states that Manchester United are preparing a £20 million move for Ozyakup and his former club Arsenal have also been linked.

The Istanbul giants want £20 million for Ozyakup and would face a tough decision if their valuation is met but the club discussed the situation with the player who is happy to stay on for another season.

Ozyakup will be almost guaranteed first-team football next season and will also star in the Champions League as the Eagles have already booked a place in the group stages after winning the league title.

United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly quizzed West Ham boss Slaven Bilic about Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup according to Talksport.

Bilic is of course familiar with Ozyakup having coached the player for two-seasons during his time in charge of Besiktas.
