The Spanish giants Valencia have set aside to€20 million for Besiktas’ star playmaker Oguzhan Ozyakup according to the Turkish newspaper Fotospor.

The report states that Valencia have been keeping tabs on Ozyakup for the past 12 months and are prepared to match the Besiktas’ valuation for the 23-year-old. The La Liga giants have already signed Luis Nani from the Super Lig player this season after matching his €8.5 million release clause.

However, Valencia are set to face competition for Ozyakup from Manchester United according to the Daily StarLa Gazzetta dello Sport meanwhile report that Arsenal are favourites to sign their former academy player.

The Black Eagles will however, be willing to put up a fight to keep Ozyakup at the club this season as he has no release clause option and club president Fikret Orman only yesterday revealed that he will be staying for at least another 12 months.

Jose Mourinho is reported to be keen on the move and Orman has revealed in the past that he would want Ozyakup to join a club like United when he does leave Besiktas.
