Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil could be about to deal a sensational double transfer blow to rivals Manchester United, according to reports in Spain.
The Germany international is keen on joining Atletico Madrid and has reportedly already issued some key demands to manager Diego Simeone.
Ozil is out of contract with Arsenal in the summer and had recently been strongly linked with a free transfer to Old Trafford, though that may now be off the cards.
Still, Atletico will have some work to do to complete the deal, with Don Balon claiming Ozil wants Simeone to both qualify for the Champions League next season and keep hold of star player Antoine Griezmann.
