Arsenal reportedly face competition for the transfer of Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir, with Real Madrid said to be keen to join the running for his signature.
The 24-year-old has already scored 12 goals this season to establish himself as one of Europe’s most in-form stars, with the Metro recently linking the Gunners with an interest.
Arsene Wenger’s desire to bring Fekir to the Emirates Stadium makes sense amid reports from the Daily Mirror that Manchester City remain the favourites to snap up their star forward Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer next season.

Still, Don Balon now claim Real Madrid could spoil those plans as Zinedine Zidane is also a fan of his fellow Frenchman.
Real’s attack has not looked at its best this season, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale all struggling.
The Daily Mirror also reported today that Bale could be sold by Real Madrid for £85million in the near future, with Fekir clearly an ideal replacement in that part of the pitch.
