Arsene Wenger brutally trolled by upcoming Arsenal opponents after FA ban

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was handed a three-game touchline suspension by the FA after an incident following his side’s draw at West Bromwich Albion.

As reported by BBC Sport, the French tactician will sit in the stands for the next three domestic games after he admitted to unacceptable behaviour directed at official Mike Dean at the Hawthorns.

Further, he’s been hit with a £40,000 fine as clearly he wasn’t impressed with what he saw from the officials on the day and was unable to control his emotions in a verbal altercation. In turn, he has paid the price with it hitting his pocket and potentially his side’s chances of progressing in the cup.

Subsequently, that ban will start this weekend as the Gunners face Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup as they hope to continue their fine run in this competition in recent years, but Wenger will not be on the sidelines to offer his players support.

Instead, he will be forced to watch from the stands, and Forest have snapped at the opportunity to have a dig at the veteran boss, as seen in their tweets below.

From using it as a promotional ploy to sell more tickets to urging Wenger to grab an upgrade for a hospitality package, they were full of jokes on Friday it seems. Lack of respect or hilarious, we think we’ll go with the latter…
