Barcelona are reportedly “very close” to landing a deal to bring Adrien Rabiot to the Nou Camp this summer, with a deal potentially being wrapped up within the next two weeks.
This is as per Don Balon, who are stating that Eric Abidal and Pep Segura flew to France earlier this week to open negotiations with PSG for the French midfielder, and they are hoping for talks to progress within the coming days.
The news outlet are also stating that young Rabiot is one of the Blaugrana’s top targets this summer, which in unsurprising when you consider just how good the player actually is.
Despite being just 23 years old, Rabiot has already managed to establish himself as one of the most important players in the centre of the park for PSG.
The maestro has managed to make a total of 207 first team appearances for the club since coming through the youth academy at the Parc De Prances, with the player also managing to score 22 and assist 15 in that time.
With Andres Iniesta leaving the Spanish giants this summer, Rabiot may be just the player Barca need to almost completely fill the void that is set to be left by the Spaniard.
