Arsenal and Manchester United could reportedly be set to enter into a bidding war for exciting young goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao.

The 18-year-old Brazilian looks a top prospect between the sticks, having broken through at Cruzeiro.

It seems he’s now attracting plenty of interest from England and Europe as Arsenal, United, Inter Milan and Roma are all listed as admirers, according to Team Talk.

Arsenal’s interest makes sense for the moment as they lack a real quality option between the sticks after Bernd Leno’s struggles to become established number one ahead of Petr Cech.

A long-term signing for that area is surely needed, and Brazao looks a player who could do well to move to the Emirates Stadium to continue his development.

United don’t currently need a first-choice ‘keeper, but did notably snap up David de Gea at a young age before he became one of the best in the world in his position at Old Trafford.
