How Solskjaer wants Man Utd to line up next season as he orders £448m spending spree on FIVE new players

Manchester United are reportedly planning a HUGE spending spree for next season, according to a report from the Times.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of big names ahead of next season, with the club in need of some big spending to catch up with rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.

This could see United spend as much as £448million on the targets they’re being linked with, though it remains to be seen if they’ll manage to bring them all in.

Still, here’s a look at the five players being linked with MUFC and how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could line up next season if they bring them in…

Jadon Sancho – £100m

Jadon Sancho to Manchester United transfer on the cards?

Linked as a top target for United by the Independent, Jadon Sancho has shone at Borussia Dortmund and is now expected to cost around £100m.

The England international would no doubt be expensive, but United could help pay for the deal by offloading the misfiring Alexis Sanchez, for whom Sancho would surely be a major upgrade on the flanks.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – £35m

Another outstanding English youngster, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has shone for Crystal Palace this season to attract transfer interest from Man Utd.

The Mail claim MUFC could try signing the 21-year-old right-back for around £35m this summer, though Arsenal have also been linked with him.

Saul Niguez – £128m

Mentioned in the report from the Times, Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez is one of the finest midfielders in Europe and is keen on moving to the Premier League.

That’ll be good news for United as they track the Spain international with the £128m release clause – which just about seems a fair price to play for such a world class all-rounder in the middle of the park.

Raphael Varane – £100m

Another big name linked with the Red Devils by the Independent, Raphael Varane could be leaving Real Madrid this summer if they receive offers of around £100m.

The France international is one of the very finest centre-backs in the world on his day but looks in need of a new challenge, with PSG also said to be after him.

Raphael Varane would be a fine signing for Manchester United

Joao Felix – £85m

Finally, the Times also link United with strong interest in Benfica wonderkid Joao Felix, who could be another exciting addition to the club’s attack.

The Portuguese star would cost £85m – his buy-out clause at Benfica – and would likely end up being worth every penny in the future after a great start to his career.

Man Utd 2019/20 line up in full:

This looks a much-improved XI for Solskjaer to field next season, with that attack as good as anything in the world and only going to get better.

Varane would also bring some much-needed solidity in defence, meaning United are less reliant on the likes of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones next season.

Get it done, Ole!
