Journalist blasts Leeds after first January signing is completed

CBS journalist Jake Winderman has slammed Leeds United’s decision to sign Max Wober from RB Salzburg.

The Whites, who are in desperate need of some defensive additions, seemed to identify Wober out of nowhere and wrap a deal up quite quickly.

Joining for a reported £11m, the 24-year-old Austrian will now arrive at Elland Road and look to play a big part in the remainder of his new club’s season.

However, following Leeds United’s need for a new left-back, Winderman is confused why the Yorkshire giants have signed yet another natural centre-back – especially considering Pascal Struijk is already filling in, in that position and doing a decent job.
