Young marksman is currently out on loan with Championship side QPR.
Premier League giants Arsenal have now joined the race to sign out-of-favour Manchester United front man William Keane at the end of the season, according to reports on Italian football website Tuttosport.
The highly rated England Under-21 international’s current contract with the Premier League champions now has less than 18 months left to run on it, however, with United not planning on extending Keane’s stay at Old Trafford beyond next summer, the player is now free to start to looking for new clubs for next season.
Keane has only recently recovered following a long layoff with a serious knee-ligament injury, with the Red Devils understood to feel that the 21-year-old has not recovered fully from that setback, hence their decision not to keep the attacker at the Theatre of Dreams.
And there have been reports of late indicating that a number of big-name clubs from both the Premier League and across Europe are all lining up to now take a chance on the youngster, including the north Londoners, who have joined the likes of Juventus, Fiorentina and Newcastle United in the race to land Keane this summer.
