Check in to Netherlands vs Wales

Swansea City captain Ashley Williams is set to quit the Liberty Stadium club and move to newly promoted QPR according to the Daily Mail.

The 29 year old Welsh international is into the final year of his current Swans contract and has been offered a vastly superior deal by a Loftus Road side keen to strengthen ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Williams move to the south Wales club back in the summer of 2008 having spent an initial loan spell helping the side secure promotion from League One. The uncompromising centre-back has racked up 273 appearances for Swansea City and is a player Garry Monk will struggle to replace.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp may well look to bring in a number summer additions but will also need to think about trimming his massive squad before doing so.
