The 30 year old Scottish international has struggled with illness in recent seasons but is now fully fit and keen to revive his career, though it appears he may be looking to move on from the club he has represented since the age of 11 in order to prevent his career stagnating.

Fletcher started the first three Premier League games of the season but the availability of new signings Ander Herrera and Daley Blind has seen the midfielder consigned to the bench in the past two fixtures.

A number of sides are said to be keen on luring Fletcher in January with Hull City, Aston Villa and Stoke City eager to land the experienced Man United star.

A move to the KC Stadium may be one that appeals to Fletcher and Steve Bruce has done a fine job as Tigers boss and will be well aware of the qualities the Man United man can offer.

Fletcher has made 331 appearances for Man United, winning five Premier League titles as we as a Champions League triumph in the process.
