Gunners could pull off surprise signing.
Arsenal are described as being ‘in secret talks’ to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in the final days of the transfer window.
The Gunners looked unlikely to land their top target after he committed his future to the Spanish giants earlier this week, but it seems Arsene Wenger is not giving up on the potential deal.
Benzema would be a huge upgrade on Olivier Giroud up front, and is perhaps not guaranteed regular games at the Bernabeu this season due to some tactical changes by new manager Rafael Benitez.
