Arsenal fans aren’t too happy with Arsene Wenger’s lack of spending during the summer transfer window.
Despite being linked to high-profile players such as Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain, Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Arsenal have ended the window having brought in only one new player.
That, of course, is former Chelsea stopper Petr Cech, meaning that the Gunners are the only club in Europe’s top five leagues not to have signed an outfield player during the summer.
High-profile Arsenal fan and TV personality Piers Morgan is not happy, with this tweet summing up his distain for the way Arsene Wenger has handled the summer window.
18 players OUT. One player IN. £200m remains in the bank. What an absolute joke. #afc pic.twitter.com/r6JzzfpqdR

His latest social media outburst comes only days after he publicised his backing for Manchester United great and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville to take over from Wenger as Arsenal coach.
I’d take Gary Neville tomorrow as Arsenal manager.

The Gunners have had an underwhelming start to the new season.

The Gunners’ lack of summer activity will only heap the pressure on the Alsace-born coach.
