New Chelsea signing Marco Amelia has given his first interview for the club since joining the club last week.
The 33-year-old has arrived to provide some much needed cover to Asmir Begovic while regular first choice Thibaut Courtois recovers from surgery on a knee injury.
Amelia was a free agent after leaving AC Milan, but the former Italian international has insisted that he hasn’t lost any of his winning mentality despite a short spell out of the game.
Speaking in excellent English, Amelia said that he’s hungry for success at Chelsea, while he acknowledged he’s come to the club at a difficult time.
