Palermo star Franco Vazquez lines up move to Man United

Palermo midfielder Franco Vazquez is reportedly lining himself up for a move to Manchester United as he looks to take the next step up in his career, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 26-year-old has been in fine form so far this term, notching up three goals and five assists for his teammates and has started to see himself linked with a host of top clubs.

And even his manager, Davide Ballardini, has jumped in on the act by claiming that the midfielder will soon move on to bigger and better things – namely the Premier League.

“Vazquez is ready for teams like Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United,” he said.

Vazquez has two caps with the Italian national team to his name, and will be hoping for a call up to this summer’s European Championships. Having made his debut against England last year, he was largely overlooked during the qualifying campaign.
